Activities:
The Service Area Committee has checked all of the path and tree lights in the neighborhood and replaced the LED bulbs for any that were not working.
Four Russian Olive tress that grew naturally in the neighborhood will be removed since they are no longer allowed in the City of Lone Tree.
Small evergreens have been installed by volunteers along Bluffmont Drive resulting in significant savings to homeowners.
Heavy snows damaged several large evergreens in the neighborhood so those will be replaced in the Spring of 2025.
Neighborhood trees were trimmed and root fed over the past several months.
Sections of sidewalks in the mews have been replaced due to the growth of nearby tree roots and shifting ground.
Volunteers have removed the metal tree rings from around neighborhood trees. The rings had been pushed up by growing tree roots and became a safety hazard.
Evergreens were placed under the entrance arbors and the mulch was replaced with granite rock. This reduced the annual maintenance costs since there is no longer mulch that had to frequently be replaced.
Volunteers replaced approximately 200 incandescent lights with LEDs. This resulted in more reliable service and significant savings since a contractor is no longer needed to tend to the lights.
Community Care
As time passes, the elements take a toll on our homes. Because most of us go to our garage, get in our cars and leave and return to the inside of our garage, we seldom pay much attention to the outside of our home, fence, or yard. Yet it is important to take good care of our property. If you wish to make changes to the outside of your home or yard, submit a Design Review Request to the management company before beginning work.
Community Involvement
Residents are welcome to attend the monthly Bluffmont Greene Service Area Committee meetings and the Ridgegate West Board meetings. Both are held at the Lincoln Park Clubhouse. There are also projects where residents can volunteer to do things that otherwise might have to be contracted out. This in turn keeps our monthly dues low.
